Fanø Bad and Rindby

The best sandbox ever
There is no doubt that the wonderful sandy beach is the great attraction and one of the main reasons why so many holidaymakers choose to come to Fanø every year.

The wide beach is created by the North Sea as it continuously supply the coast with sand and create the coast parallel sandbanks. Not unlike man, nature also has its vagaries. One day calm and soothing, next day noisy and rough. No matter what, though, the fresh air is magical.

The beach - from Fanø Bad in the north and to Sønderho in the south - is a fantastic place for everybody whether they prefer an active holiday or just pure relaxation. Windsurfing, kite flying, ball games, horseback riding, bicycling, bathing, collecting amber and building sandcastles are just some of the many activities taking place on the beach.

Today, Fanø Bad is a modern and dynamic resort with holiday centres, hotels, restaurants, shops and many holiday cottages. Fanø Bad is also where to find Denmark's oldest golf course and only 18 links course. Further activities include tennis, minigolf, squash, subtropical bathing centre, fitness studio etc.

Rindby is located almost in the middle of the island and is a large resort with many holiday cottages, family-oriented camping sites and lovely restaurants and cafés. South of the area stretches a magnificent and varied nature protection area which is perfect for hiking.
