Due to heavy traffic to and from Fanø, change-over days alternate between Friday, Saturday and Sunday:
Catalogue no. 00100 - 00550 Friday change-over
Catalogue no. 00551 - 00900 Saturday change-over
Catalogue no. 00901 - Sunday change-over
Exceptions may occur.
Despite the fact that the change-over days vary, the seasonal calendar always relates to Saturday. Thus, the price of, for instance, a stay of one week with arrival and departure on Fridays may come together as one C-day and six B-days.
Change-over does not necessarily take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at Christmas and New Year.
The tenant may collect the key for the rented cottage or apartment and move in at 3.00 pm. Departure must take place no later than 10.00 am. However, if a house cleaning has been ordered, the departure is at 9.00 am.
Reservations at Christmas and New Year
Please notice the special terms for reservations at Christmas and New Year.
When staying over Christmas and day of departure being no later than December 28, we can offer 7 overnight stays at season rate "C".
When staying during both Christmas and New Year we charge a minimum of 10 overnight stays. In the case of some larger cottages as well as luxury cottages we may have to charge 12-14 overnight stays on the owners demand. The rental rate will be calculated as 7 days at season rate B and the remaining 3, 5 or 7 days at season rate C.
Change-over does not necessarily take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at Christmas and New Year.

| Deposit : |
The deposit amounts to at least DKK 600 / € 75.
By larger and luxury cottages the deposit may be more.
The deposit will be charged on the rental agreement and is to cover possible damages or insufficient house cleaning.
Electricity and telephone consumption may not be set off against the deposit.
The deposit will be returned around 3 weeks after departure providing the holiday home has been left in a clean and undamaged state. |
| Electricity: |
One kWh is DKK 1.98 / € 0.27.
On arrival and on departure the tenant must read the electric meter at the holiday home.
Please be aware that the electric consumption in cottages offering whirlpools and swimmingpools is higher than in normal cottages.
On day of departure the consumption is to be settled at our office. The consumption may not be set off against a deposit paid. If the consumption is not settled on day of departure, DANIBO reserves the right to charge a handling fee of DKK 40 / € 5. |
| Telephone: |
One telephone unit is DKK 1.40 / € 0.19.
This applies when a telephone counter is available. Few cottages have no telephone counter, which means the amount of minutes spent on the phone is settled. One minute is DKK 6.00 / € 5.
On day of departure the consumption is to be settled at our office. The consumption may not be set off against a deposit paid. If the consumption is not settled on day of departure, DANIBO reserves the right to charge a handling fee of DKK 40 / € 5. |
| Oil: |
Very few cottages have oil-fired central heating. The tenant must read the meter at the cottage.
One unit is DKK 16 / € 2.18.
On day of departure the consumption is to be settled at our office. The consumption may not be set off against a deposit paid. If the consumption is not settled on day of departure, DANIBO reserves the right to charge a handling fee of DKK 40 / € 5. |
| Cancellation charge: |
The cancellation charge is optional and comes to 3.5% of the rental price, however, minimum DKK 100 or € 15. Please round up.
The cancellation charge takes effect in event of illness or serious accidents with one of the participants, provided the other participants cannot go through with the holiday either.
When the cancellation fee takes effect, the paid-up rent minus DKK 800 / €105 and the fee will be refunded. A medical report with a diagnosis must be presented to DANIBO no later than four days prior to arrival. Pregnancy, chronic and epidemic illnesses as well as people older than 75 years are not included the cancellation charge.

| House cleaning: |
House cleaning can be ordered from DANIBO no later than tuesday before departure. If you order a cleaning, departure must be no later than 9.00 am.
On departure the holiday home must always be left in a tidy state. A house cleaning does not include washing-up or emtying the dish-washer.

The rental agreement
The rental agreement is legally binding and include the rented holiday home, the site, furniture and equipment.
The actual number in party must not exceed the maximum party size allowed according to the accomodation details in the catalogue. If pets are welcome, then only one.
It's not allowed to put up tents or caravans on the site.
The tenant is under the obligation to treat the rented holiday home with care and consideration. The tenant is responsible for cleaning the holiday home on the day of departure. Cleaning can be arranged by DANIBO against payment.
Damages caused by the tenant must be reported to DANIBO immediately after which claim for compensation will follow.
DANIBO is not responsible for any loss, damages, accidents etc. which might arise as a consequence of concluding the rental agreement. Nor is DANIBO responsible for breach of contract on the owners part. In event of force majeure, war, strike, natural disaster, threatening circumstances etc. DANIBO is not liable.
The terms of rental are fixed and unconditional. Legal conflicts will be settled in the jurisdiction in which the holiday home is located.

Terms of payment
The first payment of 25% of the total rental price (min. DKK 800 / € 105) is due within eight days after reservation of the holiday home. The remaining 75% is due eight weeks before arrival.
Short-termed agreements must be settled immediately. Sometimes DANIBO may request the tenant to send a cheque.
Cancellation and modification of rental agreement
DANIBO is entitled to demand a reasonable compensation if the tenant should want to cancel the rental agreement. Written letter of termination must be sent to DANIBO.
In situations where the tenant has not ordered the cancellation fee or where it has been ordered, but does not apply, the compensation amounts to:
• From receipt of the first payment and until 80 days before planned arrival:
10% of the total rental price (min. DKK 800 / € 105) + the cancellation fee if it has been ordered.
• From 79 until 40 days before arrival:
25% of the total rental price (min. DKK 800 / € 105) + the cancellation fee if it has been ordered.
• From 39 days until 2 weeks before arrival:
80% of the total rental price (min. DKK 800 / € 105) + the cancellation fee if it has been ordered.
• From 13 days before planned arrival:
90% of the total rental price (min. DKK 800 / € 105) + the cancellation fee if it has been ordered.
Changing of the rental agreement is possible at any time provided the catalogue number and the time of reservation are not affected. Changes affecting either catalogue number, day of arrival or departure will be regarded as a cancellation leading to a new reservation.
Advance booking for 2010
DANIBO can only accept advance bookings for the coming years on the following terms:
• An advance booking can be made against a prepayment of DKK 200 / € 30. This amount will not be refunded in case the booking is later cancelled by the tenant.
• The holiday home in question must still be at DANIBO's disposal in 2010.
• The owner must make their holiday home available during the time which is of interest to the tenant.
• For 2010 new rental rates and a revised description of the holiday home will apply.
• We can only accept one advance booking per family.
